Important update: we are going to move our competition this year to the Carolina Beach Pier. The Eastern Surfing Association is holding its third Southern North Carolina District surfing contest in the same location in August.
This is the 8th year for the Wahine Classic and we’re excited to gather professional and amateur female surfers from all over the country (and globe) to participate in this fun, 2-day event.

Registration is now open for the 2020 Wahine Classic. So it’s time to start planning and get your registration in now. Divisions include shortboard, longboard, SUP surf, tandem, pro shortboard, pro longboard and everyone’s favorite – the Teenie Wahines (for girls 10 and under). This event is open to all women and girls. Hope to see you in August!
